New place to play!

I needed a place to play--so I made one.  I lucked into a funky and fabulous space in Haslett, have had a ball getting it ready, and making a million hopeful plans.  Now I need somebody to play with.  (That is, of course, "somebody with whom to play".)

Small but Mighty Arts is an Art/Play studio for grownups (and an occasional child), where we can take a break, learn a new art or craft, teach others how to do something we love to do, take a time-out, get an Art Fix, hide out from our busy lives, create and work on a project in peace and quiet.

There will be regular classes and play time for Zentangle (www.zentangle.com), SoulCollage  (www.SoulCollage.com), and Idea Parties  (www.barbarasher.com). Beyond that, we are limited only by our imaginations--whoo--eeee!

So far the list of proposed arts and craft classes are--

Altered books
Visual journalling
Art dolls
Making kid games
Baby Booties
Steampunk Jewelry
Idea Parties
Altars
Matchbox Book Necklaces
Taking good pictures of your kids.
Painted Rock Houses
Beaded and wire jewelry
Write Your Life in Fairy Tales
Clocks
Fountains
Painted brooms
Making short movies on a MAC
Circle skirts
Lap Quilting
Altered game boards
Fancy Fans
--and many more ideas coming!

So, please---Come and see the possibilities.  Come and play with me.  It's all about fun and a bit of Time-Out (the good kind)!
